Stampin’ Up! PPA288 Thanks

February 23, 2016

I used the Suite Sayings and You’re So Lovely stamp sets for today’s card which is for the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge.  I used markers for the sentiment and added some rhinestones that were colored with markers.  It seems I am always in need of a thank you card and I like how this one turned out.

Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by today!

Stampin’ Up! Circle of Spring – Thank You

February 22, 2015

The color challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments put me in the mood for Spring.  The sketch from Freshly Made Sketches 224 was the basis for today’s card.  I stamped  the Circle of Spring stamp on a piece of Shimmery White Card Stock with Basic Gray Archival Ink.  The image was colored using the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter brush and re-inker drops from Blushing Bride, Rose Red and Crumb Cake.  Add a few pearls and sequins and a double bow to finish the card.  Can you see yourself making a similar card?

Thank you for stopping by today!

Stampin’ Up! SIP#35 Thanks

February 20, 2016

First of all I’d like to thank everyone for their nice comments recently.  I really appreciate the time you take and your thoughtfulness.

For today’s card I used the Helping Me Grow stamp for the sketch challenge for Stamp Ink Paper #35.  After I decided on the colors I grabbed an embossing folder that I had on hand and ran it through the Big Shot.   I used Black Stampin Emboss Powder to heat emboss the sentiment.  I stamped the flower with the Basic Gray Archival ink on Shimmery White Card Stock. I put a drop of the Daffodil Delight Re-Inker on a clear block and used the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to color the flower and Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush for the center. I used an Aqua Painter to color the stems with Wild Wasabi ink.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Stampin’ Up! JUGS330 &CYCI107 Thank You

February 18, 2016

I combined two challenges for today’s card.  The theme challenge from Just Us Girls is to add a tag to your card and or project.  The color challenge from Can You Case It is to use Kraft, Purple and White.  I used the What I Love stamp set as well as one of the Gorgeous Grunge stamps for the background.  I think this is a thank you card anyone would like to receive, and you can get the stamp set free with a $50 order.   What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by today!

Stampin’ Up! FabFri80 Thank You!

February 17, 2016

Today’s card is based on the color challenge from FabFri80.  I used the Blended Bloom stamp from the Annual Catalog and stamped it on Shimmery White paper with the Basic Gray Archival Ink.  To color the image I used re-inker drops from each of the colors.  Instead of an aqua painter I used the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add the color to the flower.  I used the Gold Wink of Stella for the center of the flower.  I can use some practice ….. well maybe a lot but it was fun and just the therapy needed :-).

Thank you for stopping by today !
