Stampin’ Up! PCCS187 Just A Note

March 29, 2016

I used the Picture Perfect stamp for the sketch challenge from the Paper Craft Crew.  I have a lot to learn about 2 and 3 step stamping but practice makes perfect so I will keep trying :-).   In the end I like how the card turned out.

Thank you for stopping by today!

March 17, 2016

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  Are you wearing some green today?  Just don’t want you to get pinched :-).  Anyone who knows me knows that I love shaker cards…. they just say fun.  So when I saw the challenge from Just Us Girls #334 – shaker card, I was excited to get to work.  The color challenge from FabFri82 was fun to incorporate into the card.  I like how it turned out and hope you do too :-).

Thank you for stopping by today,

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Basics..

March 13, 2016

It took two challenges to make today’s card happen.  I used the sketch challenge from Mojo Monday 438 and the color challenge from Stamp Ink Paper 38.  I used the Butterfly Basics stamp set in a variety of ways.  The leaf and the honeycomb stamps were used for the background on the strip and some on the piece with the sentiment.  For the circle I used a sponge dauber and Sahara Sand ink to create some dimension.  The butterfly was cut out with the Bold Butterfly framelit and colored with the three colors with sponge daubers and of course a little Clear Wink of Stella :-).

Thank you for stopping by today.  And Happy 5th Birthday to our grandson, Vinny!

March 12, 2016

Thank you for your patience.  I believe I am very close to  being back to normal…on the blog anyway :-).  Today’s card is based on the challenge from the Global Design Group.  I used the Gift from the Garden stamp set for the focal point.  I colored the images with markers and used the thumping technique for the pots.

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by today!

Stampin’ Up! JUG#328 Butterfly Basics

February 4, 2016

Just Us Girls #328 is a Tic Tac Toe challenge.  I chose the ribbon, Pearls, and 3 layers.  I think I went over on the layers so I hope that’s okay…..  I heat embossed the images from the Butterfly Basics stamp with white embossing powder and colored it with the aqua painter.  This card could be used for almost any occasion and hopefully it might inspire you.

Thank you for stopping by today!
