Stampin’ Up! CYCI#100 Happy Birthday

December 30, 2015

The new Occasions Catalog has so many new and fun items.  Today I’m using a few of those new products.  The sketch from Can You Case It was the basis for today’s card.  I heat embossed the sentiment with Melon Mambo Embossing Powder.  Even though this powder is no longer available, you can still get the same effect using clear embossing powder.  You just have to make sure the powder is ready to go and pour it on as soon as you stamp your sentiment.  One of the other new items I used was the balloon punch from the Party Punch Pack.  I stamped a few of the balloons from the Party Wishes stamp set, punched them out and added to the card front.  No white borders around the balloon….woohoo!

Thank you for stopping by today.  Check for the weekly deals at the end of this post.  Let me know if I can help you or if you have any questions.

Stampin’ Up! SIP Thank You!

December 27, 2015

I hope you had a wonderful Holiday!   We sure did 🙂

Today’s card is for the Stamp Ink Paper challenge #27.  I stamped the sentiment in Silver Encore Ink on white card stock and punched it out with the 1-1/2″ circle punch.  I added that to some silver glimmer paper that was cut out with one of the Festive Flurry dies(retired).   I hope this will provide some inspiration for your year end thank you cards.

Thank you for stopping by today and be sure to let me know if you have questions.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Craft

December 26, 2015

We have a tradition with our family that we exchange handcrafted items with each other at Christmas.  I always make some knitted dish clothes…… I don’t think I’d make it out the door if they weren’t received :-).  This year I also made a luminary decoration.  I got the idea from Dawn Griffith… so thank you!

I hope you like it and have a great day.  Thank you for stopping by today!
