Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Basics Sympathy Card

July 31, 2015

Hi!  Today’s card is for CYCI#79 and PP255 sketch.  Unfortunately, we don’t seem to have enough Sympathy cards.  When I made the tag, I stamped the image with Memento Ink. I colored the stems with Old Olive and a blender pen.  It’s hard to see that I added Crystal Effects to the flowers. If you have any questions, please let me know.  I love to hear from you 🙂

Thank you for stopping by and have a great Friday !

Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch Happy Birthday

July 29, 2015

Today’s card is for the Create with Connie and Mary sketch #365.  I used the Spring Flowers embossing folder (which is on the clearance rack) for the background.  The banner triple punch makes those banners so easy and of course I love the Lots of Labels dies for the sentiment.  The Flower Fair Framelits and the Flower Patch stamp were used for the flower.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! You’re The Friend

July 27, 2015

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend.  Too bad they go by so fast…. Today’s card is for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I used the stamp from Friendly Wishes and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on vellum.  I colored behind “FRIEND” with a marker.  I also used a marker behind the heart and then later added the rhinestone…. oh well 🙂  For the background I tried the “diluted glue technique” and added silver glitter. I also used the Simply Scored Borders Table for the edges. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!!!!

Stampin’ Up! Baby Card For A Friend

July 26, 2015

Today’s card is one I made to send to some friends who just had a new baby boy!  I cased the idea for this card from Brian King.  I want it on record that I have paid my debt.  I happen to see Brian at convention and went up to him and paid him IN CASH the nickel I owed him for his “squinting” technique to determine if your card is in balance.  I even got a hug :-). Check out his blog Stampwithbrian.com.

I used the Something for Baby Stamp.  I believe the sentiment is retired and I used a retired die for the rick rack.   I also used (retired) Bashful Blue card stock and ink.  I thought it was a fun card and I hope our friends like it.

If you have any questions, please let me know.  And I just want to put another THANK YOU out there for all of the kind comments I have received for all of the cards posted this week.  I really appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to post a comment.

Thank you for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up Card Swap

July 25, 2015

This is the card I made for the card swap for the Stampin’ Up! Convention.  I used the You’ve Got This stamp. July 16, 2015 002

I off centered the layers to allow room for the butterfly. I used the aqua painter to color the flower.

My first convention was an excellent experience and I learned a lot!  Now to apply some of that knowledge 🙂

Hope you have some fun planned for the weekend and maybe some time for stamping!  Thank you for stopping by!
